Catch and remove raccoons from attic. U.S. Wildlife Removal: Wildlife capture and removal is of course, an essential part of nuisance wildlife control. While most people appreciate nature, they do not always appreciate the destruction of property, disturbance of peace, or health risks that wild animals in and around the home cause. The goal of U.S. Wildlife Removal is to quickly and humanely eliminate the animals causing the problems. The goal is not to eliminate every animal in the neighborhood, just the target ones causing you the headaches. For example, if a raccoon is living in your chimney, U.S. Wildlife Removal will not set traps on the ground, which may catch any number of non-target raccoons or other animals. Illinois Wildlife Removal will go right for the target animals in the chimney.

One of the most common complaints involving nuisance wildlife is the noise they can produce in a home. Many home owners may be unaware that they even have an unwanted visitor in their home if not for the noise. Certain animals may spend their time crawling around (and doing other things) in their newfound home (your attic, soffits, walls, garage, etc.). The scurrying scratching, chewing, or vocal noise that you hear may be most unwelcome, particularly from nocturnal animals. The primary culprits are raccoons, squirrels, rats, and mice, but other creatures may be at work. Give me a call, and I will identify the source of the noise, as well the means by which the animals are entering the structure. Get the problem fixed, and you will sleep better at night!

Would you like to know some more about the fundamentals of what this subject matter has to put forward to one person who wants to know more about Illinois bat control and MI bat removal? In Illinois the little brown bat can be a real nuisance to home owners. There are many people out there who like to do things themselves and this is where this article may help you.

At the time of the inspection of the home requiring bat proofing we can ascertain the size of the bat colony and the best period to evict the bats. On certain times of the summer season bats create maternity colonies. Dependant on the geographical location, the bats should only be evicted when the adolescent bats are able to fly. The bat pest control professionals like to use a one-way door or related to as a valve. These one way doors let the bats egress not granting the bats back in. This form of bat removal is indorsed by the organization Bat Conservation International.

The most important thing in how to get rid of bats is paying attention to small details. You must fill all construction voids, anything greater than a 1/4 inch must be sealed otherwise a bat that is evicted through the one way door will find its way back into the structure. So in general the entire exterior of the structure must be sealed to avert re-entry of bats. We'll go to the extent of sealing any defect or construction hole if you are not sure seal if a bat can get past that point seal the hole. You'll also need to exclude gable vents to hold the bats out. I'll start by blocking off attic vents, louver vents, and ridge vents with 1/4 inch hardware cloth so the bats can't breach them for future use bay bats. They can be painted, but you'll find it blends in nicely left unfinished. Inspect loose flashing leaving openings, and chimneys seal this area's if necessary. Check for holes around where the chimney goes through the roof line, carefully seal cracks and if the bats are using the opening then install a unidirectional door.

You can put together your own one way doors for bats by using the spent sealant tube. Or you can purchase pre-made bat valve from a wildlife control supply company online. After you install the one way doors on the points of entry leave them on the opening for approximately two weeks. During the two weeks you should hear the noises from the bats decrease or not see them leaving the structure anymore. Then you can remove the one-way doorway and then seal the final voids.

At this point your MI bat control is complete. After the bats have went out through the one-way valves the bats will try for a few nights to get back in, by looking for another entrance this is why the exclusion of every possible entrance needs to be done.

Sometimes a homeowners insurance policy can cover the remediation of insulation when you have had a nuisance wildlife infestation. This depends on the insurance company and the type of policy you have purchased through them. Some insurance companies will say no coverage for urine / feces related damage. Nuisance animals will also burrow through insulation and make tunnels throughout the attic space. This can commonly mat down the insulation and cause damage to the insulation itself by changing R-Value in the contaminated insulation. This is something that can be mentioned when the insurance company says they do not cover urine or droppings from nuisance wildlife animals. Contact me to have a wildlife professional provide attic restoration services. Decontamination of the attic using bacteria killing remedies is key to eliminate wildlife scent from your attic.

There are many sicknesses that humans can contract from nuisance wildlife droppings. If there has been a prolonged infestation of raccoons, bats, birds, mice, or any other wildlife, it is a good chance your attic needs to be restored. After the fecal matter of these nuisance animals sits in your attic over an extended period of time, it can start to develop spores of bacteria. Wildlife scent left in the attic will also attract more nuisance animals in the future. Usually 1-3 weeks of infestation can require the attic to be restored due to damages and wildlife scent. The offending nuisance wildlife animals should be trapped or excluded before attic clean up takes place. If you ever decide to inspect your own attic for wildlife droppings, make sure to get a quality respirator to avoid berating in any harmful material. If you are a homeowner with attic restoration questions, feel free to email me about your problems.
